'Only For You'
"intro really works and the female lead vocal is very polished. Catchy and effective arrangement. I can hear this on radio"
David Minder, Australia - December 2008
'Only For You'
"Superb! I really like this song, the overall mix is super duper, the vocalist sounds hot, the arrangement is movie soundtrack status, and this is really, I mean really a great song. "
Mac, USA - November 2008
'Only For You'
"There is no reason why this song can't be on the radio!! I loved everything about it.
The intro was basic, but perfect for this song. It launches the listener right into the nature and flow of the production.
The hook seems to be in the right places, however, I did'nt even realize the hook until I listened to it the second time because I was so blown away by the big voice, the vocals are; !!!AWESOME!!!
Any band would love to have that talent fronting them. The length of the song is just right, I wouldn't mess with that, actually, I wouldn't mess with anything. Even the quality is good.
Yes, even the lyrics are good. This band has raised the barr in this competition. Well done!!!!"
Alton, USA - September 2008
'Only For You'
"awww YEAH. You had me at the bass line! Awesome crystal clear vocals, and the hook is just too damn catchy! :) WOOT!"
Dalbert, USA - September 2008
'Only For You'
"Sweet! I'm digging the vocals. There is just something about a chick voice and distortion that is to cool. The music has a very cool and steady sound. The underlying energy is shown only in the last half of the song. If that was steady throughout, my God, that would be bad ass. There's a guitar part right after the line "Just for you" that is sick. I want more of that. The hook is solid. Chicks will be singing that for a long time. Nice job on the bass."
GT, USA - September 2008
'Only For You'
"Near perfection! I am very impressed with the production quality of this song. All of the instruments, drums, and vocals sound nearly perfect. Everything is extremely tight.
The rhythms of the guitar/bass in the intro are very catchy, memorable, and unique. The vocals fit well, they are strong and perfectly sung. The pads in the verse are also a nice touch, as are the guitar "staccato picking" in the beginning chorus section.
The entire structure of the song makes sense, as do all of the internal chord structures. There are no "off" or weird notes from any instruments or drums. The rhythms on the drums hold everything together coherently without being boring or overly intrusive to the melodies. The bass lines are also beautifully complex without making the song sound more busy.
If you can put out songs like this consistently without having them all sounding the same, I think you have a very bright future in your career."
Heck, USA - August 2008
'Only For You'
"Undeniable!
Very commercial production. That means everything's tight and in the right place. Pitch-perfect vocals and a solid mix and solid performances all around.
This is a really simple production that depends on everything being tight. And things couldn't be tighter.
Overall, this is a great production of a pretty good song with a simple, powerful production filled with sweeping energy swells. The quality of this is undeniable. Very nice.

Tulls, USA - August 2008
'Only For You'
"Jaw Dropping! I haven't heard anything this good on garage band... ever.
Song starts simple, and builds through the verse. And when the verse exits, wow. Well done with the vocals, AND music. This is such a spectacular track.
Great female vocals, well sung with feeling. The melody for the vocals is challenging for the singer, engaging for the listener."
Chris, Canada - July 2008
'Only For You'
" think i just fell in love, if she looks as good as she sings, miss world look out, now, the band its all there, guitars, drums, vocals, production, mix and the song well if you guys don't make top 10 I'll cut the sholong off, definitely gonna find out what else you guys got going,
loved it, loved it, loved it just listened to it again and it definitely got better lol, faultless, you don't need luck guys cause it's all there!!!!"
VH, Australia - July 2008
'Only For You'
"Wow, Love the chicks voice and the driving force of the band behind her,I don't even have to listen to the whole song to know this song is structured to perfection and love the lyric's...Not many people can sing as purely as this chick, someone better pay her and the band backing her well cuz they are worth a hell of alot more than most bands on GB...Simply an Awesome tune..."
Glitch, USA - July 2008

"Nice young commercial pop voice. Very LA. I really dig the hook - really nothing negative to say.
Nice harmonization as well. You can give a lot of potentials a run for their money. Nice job."

"A beautiful pop song. The music just kicks the song. And the lyrics is that you haven't heard before, like that."

"Liked it from the start....really cool and catchy! Vocals are sweet...you sound like the lead singer of Paramore. Arrangement fits all around. Hook is great....awesome!"
Mick, USA - October 2008

"A convincing honest driving bass rock line takes us straight into the belting delivery of this mature lead voice.
It's a trip of just over 2 and a half minutes but I can see the fans up and rocking and singing and hooked for the next song.
It's speeding bass ably matched by tight drumming are simple effective and just what I needed after an hour of ballad reviews.
I feel energy, I hear the synergy, I want to hear more and wish this band well."
Eynon, United Kingdom - October 2008

"high energy rock pop! The vocals are strong and solid pitch. The guitars are meaty. Great songwriting. Very pop-oriented melody and hook.
This arrangement fits like a glove for the song."
Sam, USA - September 2008

"Fun song starts off really well. The vocals are sung really well the whole thing reminds me of some of the 90's bands that used to play on KROQ here in LA.
The arrangement is great the song keeps building and around 1:30 it really takes off. The vocals may be a bit dry maybe... the guitars are tight and have a bright present tone.
Drums are also well played. Short and sweet Great stuff!"
Bolo, USA - August 2008

"Awesome voice! Vocalist has a superb voice, reminds me of paramore. Good beat and guitar in the verse. Good melody throughout.
Really like the chorus, so impressed with the vocals. Good song"
Lazy Days, United Kingdom - June 2008

"Damn, damn fine vocals. And it's clear that they know that because the song opened with a really strong vocal line.
The power behind her vocals really lends itself to the hook of the song in general. It's really catchy and really well produced.
The delay effect used a couple times in the song is really well used. Good stuff."
Jon, USA - June 2008

"Very Tight! Crisp mix and good production. Very commercial sounding. Good vocals and backups. This is something I would expect to hear on any college radio station. I think the song is just the right length too."
Mark, USA - June 2008

"The vocals are very very good, the song definatley has a good hook because its catchy and you cant stop tapping your foot, pretty much everything was good"
Mark, USA - May 2008

"The singer sounds just adorable and the music is good old happy rock to go with her nice voice. The production is good and the song well put together. I like the actually singing too and not just the cute little image I had of who was singing it :)
To conclude, I will be listening to more from this band. Good job! ;)"
Rob, Canada - May 2008

"I love the lead singer's voice!
She reminds me a lot of Avril Lavigne, but I like the music so much more.
I think this is a great song overall. Great performances all around, great sounding production, I wouldn't change anything.
But without a doubt, the lead singer's voice is my favorite part!"
Regina, USA - May 2008
'Photograph'
"The thing that caught my attention first was this girl's amazing vocals. Part Avril with a subtle country tinge. But works perfectly in this song.
This is another example of a fine pop song with a great hook...'the memories we have' aint easy to forget!
Two and a half minutes of great music just waiting to be exploded upon an unsuspecting public. Wonderful song. "
Juan, Australia - May 2008
'The Blame'
"oooh this is good.
I'm actually shocked. This is first song I've been really impressed with all day.
Female vocals are great, not an out of tune note. I love your bass sound and the buzzy guitars on the chorus. Chorus hook is strong but I would vary it up a bit - maybe take the melody higher second time you sing "still I am". Love the backing vocals at 2:30ish
Drums carry the song nicely, not too busy, fills aren't rushed. I love the fill that brings the band back in at 2:55
Overall I can't fault this much - only suggestions I have are to add to it - I'd like to hear a second bridge section with a key shift - change the mood up and really make it epic.
Overall - I loved this track. This band has a lot of potential to go somewhere."
Ven, USA - March 2009
'The Blame'
"Right away, nice intro and feel of the song. it moves nice into the verse. good clean verse. loved the female vocal, lyrics were solid.
her performance was good, good range. nice hook on the chorus. this is a great song i'd like to see you live. great work on this one."
Brent, USA - March 2009
'The Blame'
"Very nice rock n roll.
Nice voice, good production and a good rock n roll song. This one could make it on radios out here and the band probably rocks live.."
Kjell Moberg, USA - March 2009
'The Blame'
"Not every day I get to review a song in "modern rock" with female lead vocals. Really enjoyed this one!
I think the hook is apparent and keeps me listening throughout the entire song (I'm listening to it again so it brought me back twice :)
Arrangement is king. Very interesting and pleasing to the ears. Sounds like Incubus at times, Evanescense other times, Tool/Perfect Circle vibe even at times, and a lot of Breaking Benjamin influence in my opinion, but definitely your own style stamped all over the track.
The mix is just alright as is the production, but there's so much room for improvement, any major label would be silly to not pick you up and polish the hell out of your sound...
Will rate you high, best of luck!"
Amy, USA - October 2008
'The Blame'
"powerfunky! the vocals are nice. i think you have captured something pretty awesome. can't wait to hear this live."
Michael, USA - September 2008
'The Blame'
"Good vocals. This is a great song with cool transitions between choruses and verses. The singer has a voice a lot like Paramore, and it's obvious that it's actually how her voice sounds and not over-produced. Very impressive."
ManicBloom, USA - September 2008
'The Blame'
"Very good!
Ok that was unexpected, was expecting a male vocalist after hearing that intro riff...
And this girl can sing! Her voice is excellent, shes got a great range. It reminds me of Flyleaf, or Avril Lavigne.
This song is actually very good, and the more I listen to it the more i'm reminded of Flyleaf, similar song arrangement.
There is nothing i can say to describe this chorus, it is flawless. The quite bridge is a great touch.
Time to listen to it again. And again. And again."
Kevin, South Africa - August 2008
'The Blame'
"Don't change a thing.
This song sort of slides right in. The verses are bass-heavy with a light guitar arpeggio. I think this contrasts nicely with the more classic, harder rocking chorus.
The band asked about the hook, and for once I think there actually IS one. It works well and I remember it.
When the bridge comes in, I think is where the arrangement really shines. And the repeat of the chorus with the stripped-down quiet sound is really working well.
So arrangement, yes. Hook, yes. The mix is pretty well perfect. This song is performed, recorded and produced well. Don't change a thing."
KC, USA - August 2008
'The Blame'
"This is how a cick should sound (hot). Nice arrangement and the mix is very professional. Good song guys I usually am not a fan of chick rock but you might have proved me wrong today. Keep up the good work"
S. Bonnell, USA - July 2008
'The Blame'
"Great singer cool production super song.
This is a great poprock song.
The girl is singing very good! Cool!
Intonation is perfect.
I like her timbre better when she is singing quiet. (Verse)
Production is very good.
Everything is recorded and mixed very professional.
The only thing is that I never hear a cymbal on the right side. Sounds like you have only one side of the overheads on. No sorry there is on at 3:13 and even a little bit before.
Somehow the drumsound is spread too much. Doesn´t sound like one set.
Another idea is to push the guitars in the chorus a little bit more.
Everything else is just perfect.
Arrangement is perfect.
!!!Great Work!!!"
Ricus, Austria - January 2009
'The Blame'
"Rocks! I love this song! it has a good strong chorus that rocks. The only thing I would do is maybe try singing the verses a little deeper. The bridge works real good. I would have left the slow ending off and just did a fade out of the chorus on the end. This one needs to go out rockin!"
Murrell, USA - January 2009
'The Blame'
"Feet tapping! Chorus has a very good beat to it, it would make a first time listener bob his head and tap his feet. The arrangement is well done sounds a lot like what sells now a day. Vocals at end with guitar is a good way to end. Good job guys!"
SG, USA - September 2008
'The Blame'
"I really dig your sound.
I was interested from the very beginning... but was pleasently surprised still when the tempo picked up.
There are a lot of elements to this song... lots of cool little changes that keep you interested through to the end.
The singers voice is really sexy as well. Drums are tight... hell everything's tight. Keep up the good work."
Joey, USA - September 2008

"I LOVED IT! BASS KICKS ASS, REAL GOOD, LOVE THE VOCALS, WOULD LISTEN TO THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! GOOD JOB."
Adam, USA - July 2008

"so love this track - i want it! this modern rock track has a ska feel at the beginning of the track then changes into a very good rock beat and a part of the track that i like because it then goes back to the ska feel.
vocals are exceptional very powerful female voice which is both crisp and clear nothing at all can be picked at or faulted in this track"
Kaz, United Kingdom - September 2008

"cool intro. I like the use of instruments in the beginning. Ive never heard so many chick singers on here. You are by far the best so far.
Nice hook and very good arrangement. The song flows very well. I would listen to this again"

Dawn, USA - September 2008
'The Blame'
"Very unique! This is great! The vocals are pure and strong.. like a cross between Bjork and Flyleaf with a hint of Paramore.
I love the long, held notes. The chorus and hook are very much there, and bring the song to life as they should.
I'd love to be able to give you some kind of constructive criticism.. but really, I wouldn't change a thing.
It's a fantastic song, and it's very much the kind of thing you could hear on the radio."
